Worthless Support

Many people including myself, don’t like to contact Support. We tend to try to figure it out ourselves to avoid the long delay support often takes. When someone like me (whom is technically minded) contacts support, we want a good quality and helpful answer back.

Possibly the most popular soda in America has a rewards program. For quite a long time (maybe a couple of years) I have not been able to log into My Coke Rewards and since this is both non important and not urgent and simply a game, it has not been a priority to recover the password. When considering names, you will also want to make sure it is not a name to avoid. Below is a list of what to avoid and reasons why.

Avoid Trademark infringement. It’s always good to remain nice and legal. So before you commit to a name, it may be good to make sure it is not trademarked. http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/index.jsp

Avoid names not available as a domain name. If the .com version of your name is available, snag that up RIGHT NOW at DomainDad.com.

Avoid names not available at social networking sites. You can check this at http://namechk.com/.

Avoid negative double meaning names. Recently, a friend told me about a friend of his, who is starting a iPhone screen replacement business. A name they are considering is “iCrack”. When my friend asked me what I thought about the name, I laughed. I believe this name has little to be desired for several reasons. Continue reading

7-Eleven

Today is 7/11 and what better day than to pick on our favorite convenience store 7-Eleven than today?

Recently they redesigned the stores, both outside and inside. The outside design is significantly different but inside the stores I didn’t notice anything that is really worth mentioning or at least much different than I last remember.
