I am considering working in a coworking space as working from home just isn’t working out. Honestly, it can get lonely working at home and distractions are all around. To escape the house, I have sometimes gone to my local Burger King or Boston Market but that always feels a bit awkward to work from there. The answer… Coworking.
Coworking is the idea of an office workspace where independent professionals and entrepreneurs can work, collaborate and network. With like-minded individuals around, the distractions are more likely to be productive and we can all motivate and inspire one another.

Hi Jared,
I’m an online marketing coordinator for The Common Desk. Thanks a lot for blogging about us! Have you found a good location to work at yet?
We’d love to have you come by and get a feel for what it’s like to work in our community. Shoot me an email if you’re interested, we’d be happy to give you a free day to work here and take everything in.
Thanks Jared!
Sorry for the late response. I pledge to pay attention to my own blog more this year. Thank you for the offer. Since I live in Irving I do not see using anything outside of Irving. Oh how I wish we had a coworking space in Irving.
What did you decide on? I’m in the same boat, I like common desk in Deep Ellum and The Grove looks cool however I’m seriously looking at a spot at the Kessler Co-Op in Oak cliff. It’s not on your list but it’s about the same as the others ( $200 / month ).

I do software engineering for a consulting firm ( way beyond basic web design type stuff ) which office do you think has the most technically oriented members?
Sorry for the late response. I pledge to pay attention to my own blog more this year. I hung out at Fort Work for a while, but stopped as it is just too far for me. I live in Irving. Thank you for letting me know about The Kessler co-op, I will add them to the list.
